Fujitsu P50/40 HDMI issues

379 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  StockInv
I got my Fujitsu yesterday!! All is great, but when I hooked up my SA8300 to it via HDMI I got great HD, but no SD signal at all.

Then I hooked up a component cable as well. When both were connected, the non-HD stations displayed a message through component that said the TV could not handle an HDMI signal.

When I pulled the HDMI from the box, the component worked fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

That does not sound right, i have not gotten anything like that on my fuji
What signals is your set top box set to receive? I'm not familar with that box, but mine is enabled for 480i, 720P and 1080i. If that doesn't do the trick, see what input # you've selected to use with the display. I believe input #5 is used for HDMI. I have a HDMI cable going from my dvd player to my display. I have component going from the set top box to the display. I watch TV on input #3, and dvd movies on input #5. I really don't think HDMI will give you a better HD picture than component.
