Here's my setup followed by my dilemma...

This is the GPU that I have
evga 9800gt - 600mhz clock - 512MB 256-bit 1.0 ns GDDR3 memory - Max Resolution 2560 x 1600
Setup:

I am currently running a 22" monitor at 1680x105[email protected] Not problems in single screen mode. I recently hooked up my 46" LCD via the second DVI port. I'm running a DVI>HDMI on a 35ft run to the TV (I understand that audio will not travel via DVI) It's set to [email protected]
Dilemma:

When I watch an HD source (DB file in VLC, 720p youtube stream, etc..) on just one screen, the picture is perfect. What I would like to be able to do is watch the same source on both screens. I've gone into the nVidia settings and set it up to clone the image on both screens. The image comes up on both screens, but there is a slowly scrolling horizontal bright line (scrolls from top to bottom) that goes across both the monitor and the HDTV.
Question:

-are there any settings that I should double check?

-can my GPU simply not handle processing two video streams at once?

-are there any other tweaks that I should try?
