So I'm thinking about buying this TV for my uncle who currently has a very old 65 inch projection but as we all know the new DLPs have no ass on them so he's going to need a stand of some sort. The other problem is I gave him a 400 disk sony DVD player and those things are monstrous.


I'm struggling to find furniture that isn't as expensive as the tv itself. The best I came up with was the BDI Novia 8429-2

Can anyone recommend a more economical version?

I purchased this stand: Plateau CRX-2V (64)" - CR Series CRX-2V 64' 3-Shelf TV Stand. The 82" sticks out about 5" on each side. It is the perfect height for viewing. It also doesn't break the bank.

EDIT: Its too bad it doesn't have the height I need.


That damn 400 disk sony is a monster.. 7.5 high and 21.2 deep makes it really hard.
