I've somehow held off on getting a Tivo for quite a while, but the appeal of a DirecTV-enabled one that doesn't do its own compression appeals to me. I have a DTC-100 with the oval dish, will I need more equipment that a splitter in my cabinet?

and I think Larry answered the question, but I don't understand the two extra cables.


I think that as long as I'm not watching a 199/376/509 station on the DTC-100, the satellite signal coming down would work with the DirecTivo (or am I forgetting about polarization (?)).
