What is up with the Panny G10 Service Menu?
I have been trying to calibrate my TV using Calman. After getting my RGB cuts/drives spot-on in the Custom/warm mode I then exit the service menu by manually turning off the TV and holding the power button for a few seconds. However, when immediately testing the exact same gray scale outside the service menu my settings are way off. The bizarre part is when I go back into the service menu the settings are exactly where I set them (i.e. they didn't revert back to the original settings). I have tried use the WB mode 0 and 3 and hitting the select button to highlight the new selection but it makes no difference outside the service mode.
I've read prior posts about this issue, but I am not having a problem getting the settings to stick, rather the issue is how to make them take effect.
I assume that the warm in the service menu equal warm1 in the user controls.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
