On my 1292, the red seems to be quite bright, even when the bias is set to minimum. I would like to access the g2 controls to further adjust the grey scale.

I used to have a 1272 and were able to adjust the g2 via the 3 control knobs next to the blue tube. There seems to be no equivalent controls on the 1292.


Does any one know how to access the 1292's g2 control? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is no such controls on the Sony 1292. Have also tried to adjust the RED Gain?

AFAIK, G2 is set entirely under software control with the the R/G/B bias + gain controls.


Maybe you want to increase G+B bias, and then bring down the overall level with the brightness control?
