G70 Tube Replacement - Tape?

Just got 3 new tubes from Sony for my G70.... looking for some help on where to get the tape that you put on the bare tube before you mount the rings... I can't find any reference anywhere... thanks

It looks like tape from a first aid kit (or it least it does on Ampro, Ehome, and Barco).

I don't think there's anything magical about it... just helps the coils from slipping, right?

Yep, that's what I use.

Adn if there are other problems in the set, sometimes gauze works wonders..

I'm still working on using popsicle sticks to splint a broken neck..
