Having recently installed an HDTV.


I have been playing the few games on the GameCube that support 16:9 aspect ratio which include:


Super Monkey Ball 2


Starfox Adventure


Rayman 3


SSX Tricky


I must say that I am very impressed with the added dimension that a wider aspect ratio brings to a video game.


Of the games listed above . . . I would say that the most impressive presentation is Super Monkey Ball 2. This game looks absolutely incredible in 16:9. This is a game that really benefits from added view space.


I would say that Starfox Adventure is the second best looking game. Although I was mildly disappointed in the game play, I can't deny how look it looks.


Rayman 3 looks great in 16:9, but the game does not support progressive scan.

i second that. this is just a great game, period. i've never said "just one more try.." so many times. those who've played know exactly what i mean. a definate must own GC game.
