I am going to be gaming on a 55" 1080P LED TV (Samsung UN55ES6003) and I want to build a dedicated gaming PC instead of buying the next gen consoles.
I have extra Win 7 keys, optical drives, keyboard and mouse. But I do want to use my XBOX 360 controller to play games.
Here is my list:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/35fSL
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 770 4GB Video Card
Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case
XFX ProSeries 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Comments/questions:
Is that case ok? I don't want to go full tower and would even prefer something smaller
I know SSD will be great for booting, but I don't think it's necessary hence the 7200RPM
Is 850 PSU overkill?
Is it better to get 1 stick of RAM for gaming?
Is my TV ok for gaming?
TIA
