I'm sure this thread gets made all too often, but I'm in the market for an LCD TV to use with my PS3. My budget tops out around $1300 CAD after tax so I'm not looking for a very extravagant set, but something in the 40 - 47" category.
The reason I'm making this thread is because I'm somewhat worried about motion blur. I know motion blur is a problem with all LCD televisions, but I'd like to find a set where the motion blur is minimal. What specifications exactly affect motion blur the most? Is it the refresh rate, the response time or something else entirely?
I'd like a 1080p set so that I could take advantage of Blu-ray if the mood strikes me, but this TV will primarily be used for gaming.
Any advice or impressions would be greatly appreciated.
