I am an investor in a gaming center being started in my area. This is a state of the art center, i.e. networked pc's, xbox's, ps2's. I am donating a 100" diag. screen to this venture and want some feedback on a PJ that would lend itself to being used for gaming purposes.

I'm looking for feedback and/or experience with using a PJ for gaming only purposes. Any comments would be appreciated. Bear in mind that this will not need to be HT quality per se but good quality in the projection of the games is important.

Thanks....

I would suggest the following attributes would be important

- 1024 x 768 resolution (most common gaming res)

- 4:3 format (most common gaming aspect ratio)

- high brightness, perhaps 1500 lumens+ (can't see keyboard in total darkness so you need some ambient light)

I think a business model would suit this application much better than a HT model. With a DLP you might get people who are rainbow/headache sensitive so safest would be LCD.
