Hi,


1st time poster to this forum.


I'm considering the Gateway DVD player as an addition to my wireless network. Does anyone have experience with the unit? I'm primarily interested in ease of network connection, and overall quality/value of this model in its price range.

I'd also like to know if there are any competitors that I could look at (I understand that this unit is a twin of the Go Video product).

I own this DVD player, and as far as the connected portion goes it works as advertised. I was able to connect with no problem to my server and get my mp3/photo/video. It is pretty cool. The only problem I have is at the top of the screen during DVD playback if there is a black screen you can see a bar of light grey across the top of the tv. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the dvd player, or what, but it does not happen with my other DVD players on the same screen.
