More like the GE is a rebadged panasonic. There are a lot of PT-101 types - you really need to find out the suffix (if there is one) because the specifications are all different. All of them are video grade, however, except for the PT-1010, which is data grade.


okay - I looked at the listing- that's a straight PT-101. It's a video-grade (480i max) projector, it will take composite or RGBHV video. No line doubler, no HTPC with that unit. Could still make a decent picture in comparason to an NTSC RPTV but I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it. For the asking price you should be able to find a sony 1031Q which is a much better entry-level projector because it will accept progressive video.

Thanks, I won't bother with it.


I've actually been looking at the ECP Graphics/CAD/3XXX line's since they seem to run in the sub $500 and they can do HDTV which is what I'm really after.
