Welp im getting a 9200 sometime this week. I was wondering if there is any general repairs i should do to it before i bring it home from my tv shop. I know there is some preventive maintenance stuff that i can only do at the shop, so id like to get it over with all at once. So any cap changes or other mods i could use would be helpful. Also any fan replacements i could use to replace any loud ones ( they are 10 years old) with panaflos or something would be apericated(sp).

Change Cap on Def board (get the tv guy to do this one)

Add fan to Def board heatsink over big Toshiba transistor - just power it with a 6 volt plugpack is easiest - although it can be wired in with a 100 ohm 1+ watt resistor in series.

Add a heatsink to the bottom plate, under the C and F drive STK chips. I just put in longer M3 screws to hold the C and F drives - then put the heatsink over the sticking out threads on the underside, and added M3 nuts. A fan on this heatsink wouldn't hurt either.

If it drifts change caps on Waveboard.
