I currently have a Sony KDS 60a3000 as my main viewing display. I am thinking about doing an upgrade soon. However this set is great and there is no reason to get rid of it. I was thinking about turning my garage into a man-cave. The catch is that I live in Houston TX. Our summers here get pretty freakin hot and humid.

I guess my question is: how do RPTV's do in hot humid climates? I only ask because I hear about people all the time with man-cave garages. I have even seen a few, but I think they either had old tube sets, or flat screens in there. I know I can look at the spec in the user manual for max/min temps, but I want a true life account of what these are capable of.

I just want to be able to watch the game on a good set while my wife watches lifetime network!
