Hey guys! There's a lot of talk about these new LCDs but some questions have not been answered.

-Is this a good unit for gaming? Like a lot of people, I'm looking for mainly a gaming/dvd TV.

-Is this in stores yet? Does Best Buy carry this unit yet?

I've gotten three HDTV's this month, all with geometry problems. I currently have a 34XBR960 and whoopie.. Screen is warping and even with service menus I can't figure it out. So call a tech or exchange.

In your honest opinions, would an LCD with 720p (better than 1080i?) be the best bet for my gaming? Should I pay $400 to have the 960 CRT calibrated? I'm just stuck to rocks on these matters.

-Will Blu Ray and HD DVD be native 720 or 1080? Is buying a set without 1080 suicide for future media?

I've been reading a good bit here and it seems that newer LCDs don't ghost or motion blur? Surely this unit would not as well correct?

Is the new XBR LCD's worth waiting for and an extra $700? Will it be a huge difference or as small as the diff between the xs955 and the xbr960?

Thank you for any thoughts or opinions!

Was doing some poking around and read that Blu Ray and HDDVD use 1080p as standard res. Is that correct? Does that mean we'll see 1080 as standard in less than two years? If anyone could help with my other questions, that would rule.

Ah very cool. I haven't been able to get a clear answer calling my local BB and bestbuy.com does not list it yet as far as I can see. I'd love to explore this unit myself.

If anyone grabbed one and can answer the questions above it would be appreciated!
