I'm pretty sure it claims there is HDMI 1.3 support but I am unsure. Internal pictures show a neat design, looks like it would be an easy mod for 5.1 triple coax output for those with such inclined receivers / pre pros.

No, it's HDMI 1.2a. They still rave about the picture quality, especially via 1080p24.
