This apparently came out in May in Germany from Koch, and I just acquired it in a trade.
The bad news is that it is a region B locked title;
the good news is that imo it looks way better than I thought it would.
Though the print has obvious dirt specs or something similar that pop up fairly often, the level of detail is fantastic.
This could have been a real disaster, but to me this transfer looks pretty damn amazing.
Color is excellent, and the daytime scenes look absolutely fantastic.
very sharp; not soft at all.
easily looks better than "Baron Munchausen" and "Life of Brian" bds imo.
Considering this came out in 1981 I believe, this disc may be one of the best I have seen of an early eighties film.
And it is a total classic from Terry Gilliam.
If you can play region B titles, I highly recommend this one.
(contains German DTS-MA 5.1 and English DTS-HD 5.1)
