I've done quite a bit searching on this, but haven't found anything yet. I'm trying to run 1920 x 1080 on a Samsung LN-S4096D 1080p LCD display from a Dell PC with an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro. The connecting is VGA on both ends, but the VGA cable is custom made from 5 wire RGBHV.

The TV will display almost any 4:3 resolution (1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200), but displays 'Mode Not Supported' when selecting 1920x1080. When I connect the PC and Display using a regular 10' VGA cable this resolution works fine. Is there some information the regular VGA cable is carrying that the custom made RGBHV VGA cable is not?

I've tried to add a custom monitor driver via powerstrip but with no luck.
