hello all

i've searched the previous threads and found info regarding low contrast flicker, but anyone know about hi-contrast flicker?

I have a vga to vga going from a geforce3 to my panny th-42pd3-uy and during windows operations (with white or near white) backgrounds, i get this annoying Contrast Flicker. As if the 'autocontrast' can't decide on a setting... like a cable is loose...

i've got the ferris cores on, as well as tightened the cables on both the vid card and the monitor....

I don't notice it at all during component or s-video signals.

I also don't notice it at all during Video Overlay e.g. powerDVD xp...

just when i bring up a window with explorer with a white or light colored background, the screen goes crazy.

I'm using the new detonators v.41 with 848 x 480 32 bit color at 75 hz refresh rate....

Anyone have a solution to this? I don't have a DVI input on my plasma screen : ( .... Anyone?

TIA!
