I've always been fond of this oddball Comedy-Western. It was Jack Nicholson's second of three attempts at Directing (and he was arguably never very successfull). Although flawed, the film has some classic moments such as the opening chase scene, John Belushi's "shower" scene, the widows at the gallows, etc. It's also the debut of Mary Steenburgen, who was then 25 and reportedly discovered and cast by Nicholson while working as a waitress.

My 1990-vintage VHS copy is about worn out and I'd like to replace it with the DVD that came out Tuesday. However, that DVD version is listed on several web sites at 105 minutes run time, versus the original 109 minutes of the VHS version. Does anyone know which scenes are missing?
