Hello,

i have a 13x12 room with a hall way that leads out to a larger area. Currently i am running klipsch icon book shelfs and center channel with my marantz 604 receiver. I have the velodyne minvee 8 for the low end but i am looking to upgrade to get a sub that can go lower but not brake the bank.

suggestions are welcomed.

FYI

i am thinking about the epik legend, emotiva ultra 12, ED sealed sub

I want something that will give me significantly more low end then the minivee does.

900 or below shipped.

90 pecent movies

10 percent music

right now but with the right sub i might up the use for music to 25 percent

As i said in my 2nd post i like the idea of a sealed sub like the rythmic but i would consider a ported design

Agreed.

I was in almost the exact same boat. I sold my mini vee and got an SVS PC-12+. It literally blows me away. Great for HT or music. I think it was $950 or so...

Completely worth every penny.
