I will be placing safe 'n sound in walls and into the ceiling.

But now i got thinking what do I do about all the ducts? How do I stop the sound to travel up the ducts and into the floor above?

#1 Use the least expensive insulation you can find. R-19 fiberglass, generally. Safe and sound isn't safer or sounder
