Nice find Peter... I agree with everything he said, that sound quality is extremely important for that type of movie experience. It didn't look like a 20 ft screen either.

I quoted a Goldmund option for Helene (it was 1.85M). They told me to put my feet on the ground.

I hope eventually I can do first an 11.1 channel system with triamped biamped Tact/Boz with MBL speakers. Then the goal on an even bigger room would be a 24 channel stacking dual tcs Mk3.

Hey MY STEPLIGHTS are much better than Goldmund's.
Agreed... Goldmund for home theatre is not cost effective. Does a Rolex do a better timekeeping work than a Seiko? I'm sure Munro Acoustics would easily do the same job with a few M5 s (also rated at 130dB) and at a fraction of the cost of the Goldfinger, eh, sorry, Goldmouth insanity...

Im sure the sound is superb.

For me personally, the screen is too small. The seats make the viewing distance outside the 1080 point.

Nothing short of amazing, but at a cost that, in my case should i ever come across that kind of money is just not worth it. Yes i value good sound, the comfort that a custom installer would provide etc. But this makes as much sense as a ferrari or any other ultra extravagant toy.

This is show of stuff for the ultra rich, typical overpaid athletes and so on.

Something you would ecpect to see on cribs and similar shows.

Ferrari's make perfect sense.

I also dont agree its for showing off, its for enjoying. This is, after all, the Ultra high end forum. Expense is expected

There are a number of HTs of that caliber on here. Tusen Takk

Why not just buy a cheap Bose system...

Even more to spend on women and cars.

You can't drive a car in your HT. If you can drive a car in your HT, you can certainly afford to throw away 1 million dollars and still have millions more to spend on women, cars and whatever other type of depraved activities you can imagine... Speaking of which, anyone see the movie "Hostel?"
