it's a difficult one, I try my best to describe...
one side of wall has a huge windows, on the other side is half the wall with stairs, third wall is solid with no windows what so ever, and last wall sits way back away from the solid wall adjacent to entry...
You seem to have a room with lots of openings (doors, stairs, windows) which will affect the sound significantly. It would useful if you had a substantial amount of absorbent objects like upholstered/stuffed furniture and drapes.
With this info, I hope someone can help but I cannot as I am not familiar with that portion of the market.
Hey Kal, thanks any way, I think I just go with a pair of Infinity Primus 150 with Dayton 12's like subwoofer, a refurb. H/K or Onkyo, and some DVD player...unless Athena B1.2 is a better choice over Primus 150...
If music is your primary focus, you may want to steer clear of the Dayton sub. It works fine for HT but not very musical. I used to own the 10" Dayton, but am a lot happier with the Athena AS-P4000 for music.
