Originally posted by Rheal_Dubreuil OK thanks. Maybe I should add that this projector is for a friend. I already own a BenQ PB6100 and I am really happy with it. another friend has an X1 both really good projectors. The X1 definatly has a better scaler and deinterlacer built in. I also realize that it cannot be 800 x 600 and 16X9 but I could not remember the exact resolution. But thanks for reminding me. When I was talking about scalers and deinterlacers I was talking about the quality of the ones that come in the projector. For example the Optima H30 is supposed to have really good scaler and deinterlacer (according to reviews on this site). I personally like the 4:3 projectors but my friend does not want to have the bars etc. So I was wondering if there where any good 16:9 projectors that are the same resolution as the X1 / PB6100 / H30 that are masked to 16x9 or any native 16x9 projectors with this resolution. Thanks. Any other projectors out there? BTW I live in Canada so the prices are about double of what you pay in the USA. |
