Good analog tuner options?

245 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  sub
I've got the Fujitsu 42" ED (P42VHA20) plasma. It performs brilliantly with DVD, but I'm not so happy with the performance of our analog cable system. Connected via composite cable - yuck! I seem to be getting color bleeding/banding often with movement.

First off, I'm not in the US, and we dont have HD or digital cable here. They're still in the "planning" phase for these standards in our country (New Zealand).

Are there any analog tuners, that do a reasonable job of tuning in an analog signal and put out a good component, DVI, VGA or SVideo signal?. Do Fujitsu do a tuner?

I see some of the Philips plasmas come with TV receivers. If I had this (or similar) tuned to the RF signal from my cable box, would it improve things?
