Irwing Winkler, the producer of Good Fellas, one among other equally famous movies he has produced in the past, stated in a recent interview that a new transfer of this film will be hitting the streets soon (no dates given, though). These are news worthy of celebration!


Personally, I just want a fresh HD anomorphic, EE-free transfer with no breaks. That would indeed make me very happy!!...

That would definitely be cool. This is a wonderful flick, and the only reason I don't pull mine out more often to watch it is that its just not and enjoyable disc to watch because of the low quality.

Does anyone else remember the article that the real Henry Hill wrote for "Premiere" magazine in which he commented on the movie? He thought that it was pretty accurate except that Joe Pesci's portrayal of Tommy wasn't as psychotic as the real person.

movies will follow: Raging Bull, Mean Streets; and do DVDs of King of Comedy, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, and After Hours even exist?

The real Henry Hill was on Howard Stern today..... and apparently he was brought to New York this week by Martin Scorsese to record a commentary track for the forthcoming SE.

Yeah he was there alright but I hope he is not recording any commentary today because he was drunk as a gd skunk on the stern show this am. Maybe thats a good thing.
