Hi All,

After doing some research and also using input from this forum, I decided to purchase a NAD T762 receiver for my new home audio set-up.

Is there a preferred internet NAD dealer for members of this forum? Ideally I am looking to purchase my NAD over the net from a reputable dealer (preferably outside California so no sales tax for me). I want to buy either new or B stock but not refurbished. Of course I am looking for the best possible price and from a dealer who has a good reputation.

I am planning to mate the NAD with Onix Rockets 750s. The set-up will mainly be for critical music listening, with movies once in a blue moon.

Hallo,

I wish I could do this now. I have to wait a little.

I've known a guy name John, here in this forum, he is an audio specialist and his WEB site is www.adnm.com. He can sell you NAD at a very good price.

Also, he is a very good friend and he is able to answer all your techinical questions.

Good luck,

lmauta:D

Be aware that NAD products sold mail-order or over the internet will have no warranty from the company. There are some places authorized to sell refurbs or b-stock, but not new gear. The T762 has been on backorder and they will be very hard to get. Some places listing them are taking deposits and not shipping anything. Some advertise it and then try to sell you some thing else. Be careful when you can't see the unit firsthand before buying.

The T762 should no longer be hard to get, as the second production run was (according to NAD) quite large. If a dealer can't have you one within a week, chances are they aren't going thru proper channels.

http://www.yawaonline.com is an authorized NAD dealer. Their price quote for the T762 for me was $1039 + shipping.

Stay away from unclestereo.com / reliableaudiovideo.com / absoluteaudiovideo.com. They are all the same company and are not authorized. Plus they have horrible service (my experience anyway).
