Good Lamp Experience with Projectorquest

I ordered a lamp from them for my Sony VW 60. Decent price and got it quickly via UPS. Worked perfectly for 22 days until it suddenly blew out. I took the lamp housing out of the projector and looked at it.


The bulb had exploded into little bits. While handling the housing, apparently one of the little bits of glass got out and pierced the skin on my palm. Since I know the lamp contains mercury, I panicked and dropped the whole thing, breaking the plastic on the housing in a few places. After washing my hand with the strongest soap available I ultimately returned the lamp and broken plastic pieces to Projectorquest (actually Global Tradequest, Inc) with a letter describing what happened with dropping it.


No fuss, no muss, they immediately sent a replacement. I thought this was pretty good service.
