I am trying to outfit a classroom with a 5.1 dolby digital system butI only have about $300-$500 to spend on all speakers combined. Any recommendations? I have thought of..(in this order)

1. Mirage AVS series

2. Energy Take 5 series

3. Cambridge Soundworks Movieworks II

4. something low end from Polk (if it exists)

Don't want SONY, Panasonic speakers, don't

want Bose, or anything that sounds terrible..

I know this is a tough price point...

No sony come on! There new DVD 5.1 package is supposed to be quite good. Check out this months sound and vission

For a low priced but good quality brand, check out KLH. You can find them at Best Buy, Costco, and other discounters. They offer a lot of sound for the dollar.
