What are some good solid movies where a dog(s) play some part in the plot? Maybe somewhere between the Air Bud movies and A Boy and His Dog.

The Accidental Tourist

it just streeted yesterday and the disc is excellant.

as for the film- i think its one of the finest movies of the last 20 yrs, but its very low key and requires patience.

looking back, the dog is very much a catalyst for the films events.

good performance by the dog, too.
