Good stuff coming up on HDNet Movies

I noticed three very good things coming on up HDNet movies that I'm definitely going to be taping, and recommend to anyone who hasn't seen them. One is U2's "Rattle and Hum", which is discussed in another thread here.

Two is "Foxfire", which is an underrated favorite of mine. It's one of those great teen angst movies, which I have a thing for. Here is my review of it back in my DVDVerdict days. Angelina Jolie is well cast in this one.

Three is "The Last Tycoon", which is a classic film about the old film studio system, based on an F. Scott Fitgerald book. If they've found a really good print and the quality is high, it'll be a real treat to get this one on tape. It has a pretty deep cast, and one those 'and introducing this unimaginably perfect young girl you've never seen before but she takes her clothes off' deals, including DiNero, Robert Mitchum, Theresa Russel, Jack Nicholson, and Tony Curtis. Definitely worth watching if you are into such things.

Does the previous post make anyone else nervous?

Why?
I was trying to be funny...it was a combination of his "thing" for teen angst movies and his admiration of a "perfect young girl" taking her clothes off.

Sorry I missed that but I get it now sometimes I am a little slow
She's not THAT young, but she is absolutely stunning.
I'm just busting your chops. No offense intended, Dean.

who is this "she" I am hearing so much about???????
Her name is Ingrid Boulting, and this flick is about the only thing she did I think. So she gets the "and introducing" type credit, which in many cases is reserved for the 'beautiful girl you've never seen before, but the director wanted to get into her pants so bad she got a part', which might be the case here. She's frightengly beautiful though, to me anyway.

This movie might not be for everyone, but I found it quite interesting when I saw it 4 or 5 years ago on VHS tape. I don't know how well it will translate to HD, since I couldn't tell from the VHS version how high quality the image was. But anyway, it's a classic film, and provides an interest look at the class studio system.
Dean,

Something you definitely will want to watch is CHASERS. Being shown on HD-Net movies in Oct. Erika Eleniak in all her glory.
