Is this a good tower they look good but i wonder if they sound good. Does anyone know if they are some good towers?

They should be decent. Depends on taste. I'm not the biggest fan of polk, they make middle of the road speakers IMO, comparable to PSB, JBL, Klipsh etc. They are certainly "good," but may not be "great."

For $69 each, they're definitely good.


Do a search on Polk R50, there are definitely some reviews out there in this forum.

I have these in my basement. They are very trebly and bassy, with uhm, a very sad showing in the midrange. Cool for a second tier HT system, you can crank them up pretty darn loud. Not bad looking either.

Adjust the graphic equalizer a bit more.

I have not listened to these, I have heard the bass is a bit muddled or boomy. But for that price you could add an EQ, and/or maybe your tone controls would suffice.
