I have a friend with a highend 53 inch 4:3 rear projection TV. Besides the local Atlanta paper, what are some good ways to sell these big things?

Given that your friend is in a big city (Atlanta), he/she could list the RPTV on Ebay for local pickup only. Ebay reaches alot of people and their listing fee is affordable. (Include a good description and picture for best results.)

I just sold my 1995 Sony 53" XBR to a friend for $450. The next day my neighbor wanted to buy it. Too late, already gone.


On e-bay, this same set recently sold for $760.


Also, word of mouth through work or friends works well.
