got a problem with this board's TV out ... it's black&white, sis m650

i have this laptop board i'm using for a project. it's got the SiS m650 chipset. it has VGA and S-Video output.

When I connect the S-video out to any display it's black and white.... I can't figure this out for the life of me!

I tried googling it, but all I found was other people with the same problem, but no solutions..

can anyone help me out? I set the BIOS to NTSC ... I live in america...
