Got my new Pany and now I have questions.

I bought the TH-42PD50U and love it. First of all, WOW does David Letterman look good in high def.


My question is can I use the built in tuner for regular analog cable AND the off air channels as well? I hope this makes since. If I select to program channels analog cable mode - I see cable channels. If I select program channels antenna mode it finds my local channels as well as high def channels. Is there no way to have both?

Being a new user can you offer solutions? I do not use a cable box so I guess my only other option is to run cable through my VCR and use the built in tuner for OTA?
