Another thread on here got me thinking that I need to finish RtCW one of these days. Years ago I almost crossed the finish line but petered out.
It's fun, a solid 7.5/10, and an interesting case study of how far AI has come in shooters; If you run away soldiers will run after you eventually (straight into your gunfire), and when they open doors they stand there for a second to orient themselves allowing you to waste them easily. The only danger comes when they overwhelm you with numbers. Of course - I'm only a few levels into my replay so maybe they were tougher later on?
My only complaint? IT'S IRRITIATING HOW BAD I AM AT FINDING TREASURE IN THIS GAME.
At the end of every level it's like 2/7 treasure found, 1/5 secret areas found. And I'm looking, not doing a speed run.
Are some treasures just in random spots in the walls? Because if they are I'm not going to feel so bad. I don't want to run around stabbing every square inch of wall just to get some bling.
It's so fun I'm playing it a second time. And you get incentives to do so, leveling your weapons even further with new more powerful firing modes. Plus it's such a pretty game and I just got an OLED. Colors are beautiful.
best console graphics so far. Uncharted 2 was one of my favorites on PS3, part 3 was disappointing. This was def more fun than Uncharted 3. Just a little slow at times but a great game!
I'll weigh in on overwatch too. I think it more of a (7/10) at this point for me. I really enjoy games that can have a long competitive streak and at this point the game needs some balance work to make it more fun. I definitely had a blast playing it, but it got old quickly.
