"You can buy a cable from NEC (Component to RGB) Several of the pins have been removed. This allows you to use a progressive scan DVD player for an amazing picture - the colours just come alive and no motion artifacts! As you mentioned you retain full control over aspect ratio and video settings!"

the NEC Component to RGB Cable (NEC Part #componentv-cable) or a cable from another company (i.e. BetterCables) with your LT150?

Do you know a web site where I can buy the NEC Cable?

No need to get the NEC one, any VGA Breakout cable should work, whether it has 3 or 5 rca plugs.

I bought mine at bettercables.com. Very nice cable, but pricey. I probably would go with www.avcable.com now that I've looked around.

If you get a 5 RCA > VGA breakout, you would only use three of them.

It works great. The unit definitely rocks with a progressive source in component mode.

Shawn, either Darian or Randy mentioned Radio Shack as selling the breakout cable and I think the convenience and price might make this a viable option.

The NEC cable I have is only 8 feet long, too short for a lot of applications.

Cheers,
