I just built a 52x92 DIY screen with blackout material specifically to be used as a gray screen. However, one thing bothers me. I don't know a thing about paint. From the searching I have done on this forum my best guess is to get Sherwin Williams Lum. white paint and add a small amount of lampe (sp?) black to get the proper gray. So my questions run down sort of like this:

1. Is this the best method to use for DIY gray screen (by popular approval?)?

2. Should I just buy gray paint and if so what kind?

3. If I go the Sherwin Williams mixed with lampe black route how do I know how much to add? What is optimal?

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.
