Thanks. The interview explains a great deal. E.g., why the RKO laserdiscs cost a fortune on ebay.

I'm surprised no one asked about The Sea Hawk and Captain Blood, which rival The Adventures of Robin Hood for excitement.

The Hunger! Yes! This was on one of the Encore channels last week (fullscreen of course). I've been looking hard for this movie. It was out for a very short time on VHS back in the early 80's.

If you haven't seen it, it stars David Bowie & Catherine Denueve (sp?). They are vampires and David Bowie goes to the hospital for an aging ailment and ages like 40 years over the course of 8 hours while waiting for treatment. Great flick.

Matt,

That's great news. Greystoke is the only film version of Edgar Rice Burroughs famous character that comes close to the original novel. Having read all twenty-five of these books, I've often imagined a director like Peter Jackson tackling these stories. The original book has been done adnauseum, however the sequels are another story. I've always wanted to see a new film that included John Clayton's son, as well as some of the plot points that come up including Trazan's eventual immortality.

Christopher Lambert was an excellent choice to portray Tarzan, and I'd love to see him again, even in a secondary role with somone new cast as his son.

I am happy for you guys, but disappointed that "O Lucky Man" did not make the WB release list yet again. I guess it is too cultish and quirky for the WB suits.
