Has anyone ordered and received from these below $2900 places?

For PC Superdeals, if you go the the "About Us" tab, it refers to itself as "Micro League". And in ResellerRatings.com, there's one unhappy comment about them (the only comment).

Turbe:

I considered starting this thread too. I checked out all of these places as well, not letting projector lust keep me from digging for the fine print. The bottom line: Today I ordered my LT 150 from Projection Direct for $3199. OK, that's $400 higher than the cheapest places, but I have dealt with PD before and I had no trouble at all returning an Infocus projector for 100% credit (except for shipping, of course, which is pretty much the standard UPS rate). They have a 30-day return policy, no restocking fee, and a 60 day upgrade option.

The 60-day upgrade is really a big deal for me, since by mid-September, the Infocus 530 will be out and reviewed in better conditions than Infocomm, the Plus Piano should be hitting stores, and so forth.

Unfortunately, I am in the same state as Projection Direct and I would have to pay Sales Tax as well.

BTW, I can't find LT150 Pricing on http://www.projectiondirect.com

Do you have the direct link?

Turbe, you could use the extended warranty on PC Superdeals, it is 200.00 for a total of $2,974.17, very good price and with 4 year warranty. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif

" General Electric Service Protection Plus

If you only click on the description, you purchase it. Otherwise it will not be added.

This is an optional 4 Years Extended Warranty (3 years by GE, plus 1 year by Manufacture)

Covering All Parts & Labor, On-Site or Carry-in, Anywhere in the U.S.

Does not cover software."

I think NEC provides a standard 3-Year Warranty as it is.. no need to pay extra for the GE Warranty for an additional one year.
