Hi all

I have tried to connect my Barcovision600s at DVD player through RGBs inputs but the image that it projects has green dominant and very little flickering.

With S-Video and Composite are all ok.

I need a Sync separator ?? Overscan problem ?? :(

Thanks for attention

sir

If your DVD player is outputting YPrPb or component type signal, that is not the same as RGB, you would need an outboard transcoder or a component card installed in the Barco, if they offer one.

Could also be some copyprotection like the Playstation 2 has on RGB output.

On PS2 the image is all green when outputting DVD via RGB, but not on svhs or video signal.

thanks for the answers.

Tim

My DVD player has the RGBs (I'm sure) out on the connector scart and I have connected it to the PJ with a cable scart --> 4 bnc (R-G-B + Composite Sync).

Tomorrow I will try with an other DVD player

Enterprise D :)

I did not know of this protection however I use a stanalone Thomson DVD player and have tried moreover with several dvd but the result is the same, green.

Bye and good vision (with s-video) :) :)
