Channel 9 (12) is strong. Even 11 (9) is coming in for me right now. Foxeng is picking up 11 as well, and WITN is bad there too.

Looks like WITN reduced power? Maybe not... Look at WYDO in the second graph!

Doing it in Western NC will be harder because, unlike Eastern NC where WUNK's coverage area is completely overlapped by multiple full power PBS NC signals, there's not a bunch of overlapping signals which would potentially make up for the 95% coverage shortfall if they converted a station like WUNW or WUNL to ATSC 3.0. Some of those signals also extend into neighboring states, which even though PBS NC isn't targetting, it would still count against them for population loss in the FCC's eyes:

Not to mention they're wrong anyway. After the initial tributes when the news broke this morning, everyone quickly moved on to other news and it was just one of many stories by the time the noon newscasts began. The only exception, for obvious reasons, is BBC World News (and the PBS simulcasts), which has been simulcasting the coverage and specials from BBC One, BBC Two (when BBC One broke away for local news) and BBC News Channel UK all day. BBC's UK channels broke in at 7:09am ET and have been going nonstop, while BBC Four (who timeshares with CBeebies) ceased programming entirely tonight.

The coverage Prince Philip got in the US is nothing compared to what happened when Diana died, where ABC was simulcasting BBC One, CBS was simulcasting Sky News, and NBC was simulcasting ITV/ITN for most of that Sunday morning.

New post on WCTI's Facebook page claims employee uploaded message to corporate page by mistake; meant for personal page.
Have to wonder if WCTI has announced yet "with mixed feelings" that she has "left to pursue other opportunities" or "to spend more time with her family".

I hear Dairy Queen is hiring.
