I have a Barco graphics 1208, running on a white 1.5 gain screen i think.

1.5 was atleast what i thought i got when i bought it for my old BD600.

anyway.. with it i really can't see any "hotspotting".

Now i am buying a bigger screen, about 120" diag (4:3).

I am going to put dark drapes around the room to get rid of all light

that spreads around. (big difference now compared to my old pj).

So should i get a gain 1.0? grey? white?

BG1208 is supposed to output 1250 lumens and the tubes are pretty fresh.

A grey makes contrasts and blacks better?

Appreciate any answers ...

The Gray screens are specifically engineered for single lens lamp powered projectors. With a crt projector you should only be considering a conventional white base screen.
