GreyHawk Concerns?

267 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Minman
Hello all, I'm planning on going with the Sony 10HT for my projector and was wondering how the Greyhawk MicroPerf 16X9 100" diag would match with this projector? I'm specifically interested in problems I might having with this combo.

As some background our room is 18X13 and 1st row seating is about 9.5 feet.

I've been reading through old posts and haven't found very much on the microperfs with the Greyhawk.

As I'd like to make a purchase before the offer ends so any help you can lend would be greatly appreciated.

Matt,

I have the microperf Grayhawk screen with my D-ILA FPTV and I've seen the Sony 10HT a couple times before.

I'd say that the 10HT would benefit visibly from the Grayhawk screen.

But there have been reports of moire patterns between the 10HT's pixel array and the Stewart microperf screen.

Apparently it is not a problem if you add a Cygnus lens:

Dean, Thanks for the information. I just got the same response from Don about this. So I'll take a look at the lens.

Hmm that link doesn't seem to be working. Is it correct?

Thanks,
