I just noticed that my guide is showing everything from comcast as "no information available". I switch to a different comcast provider, Sant Clara has like 5 or 6 different options, but it didn't have much information either. It had a couple of shows. I also have Dish and the program guide for it is mostly there. HBO shows as unavailable.

I am runnng WiRNS, but I didn't setup zap2it.

Any ideas???

Did you just set up wirns or have you had it running long enough to be able to say "Comcast used to be fine - now it's hosed..."?

If it's the latter - it could be an upstream problem - try a forced net connect sometime tomorrow, if it doesn't magically fix itself by the evening then start looking for answers.

I don't know if I've had wirns running long enough. It has been running since 10/10. The thing that leads me to believe that it isn't wirns is that if I change providers I get different data.

I also have DVarchive running. Where does it get program data from? It has program data through Thursday afternoon. Friday lists no data. The todo list displays shows that will be recoded through Thursday afternoon.

Thanks, Joe

Well I tried a couple of things still no luck. I tried comcast from Hayward some data, but mostly blank. I switched back and all CATV was blank. I deleted the guide data and reconnected. CATV was still blank and Dish was back except it had some unavailables (the HBOs and ESPN not ESPNnews though).

Any ideas?

Stop trying!!!! It is not you. Comcast changed a few channels and I guess replay screwed up. I just got off the phone with Replay and comcast. You have to report it to replay and in a few DAYS they will get it fixed. By the way. The replay person I spoke to was in Texas. There is no more India call center.

Since I still have the problem and I have Wirns running I went ahead and setup datadirect to get the program guide populated.

If comcast and replay get there act together I would like to switch back. How would I do this? I understand datadirect doesn't make shows as repeats. So, I think it makes sense to go back once things are straightened out.

Additionally, Where does DVarchive get its program data from?
