He is scary enough in 2D.....This will really prove 3D is viable. A loud mouth Food Channel "star" in 3D. DirecTV....you can do better. Really.

This really appeals to my wife, so I think this is good.

I for one am pleased at this announcement. It means that 3D content can and will be diversified and not pigeon holed to just movies and sports. The more it mimics HD, the greater the appeal IMO.

Thanks for the reminder. Loving some new 3d content.

Anyone know if you record a 3d show you can play it back in 3d? Sorry at the airport at the moment.

Yes, you can. This particular program is not worth recording, though, IMO.

I'll second that. This might have been a good idea if the 3D camera went on the road with Guy as seen on his other show, but this lame attempt is just him standing at a kitchen counter....cooking. The opening graphics aren't even in 3D. Also it seems they picked a background that is busy and crosstalk creating, i.e. a bunch of hubcaps, bright against dark, ect.

If DirecTV produced this they are not even trying. It's sad really. Rent "Scar 3D" for real dimensional film making, if you can stomach torture porn.
