Ok guys I am looking to get a receiver to go along with my Elite Kuro


I will have Direct TV HD, Xbox 360, and PS3 all connected via HDMI


I am looking at a few 6th ave electronics stores in my area and all of them have the SC-05 but only floor model for $800


They refuse to lower the price even though is a floor model


The other receiver I am looking at is the VSX 03TXH which they do have and brand new in a box for $600


Is the $200 diff in price worth it or should I stick with the 03 for $600



If there is a big diff then what would it be....Thanx for the help fellas

I have the 03 and I am very happy with it. You may want to check out the prices on videogon.com.


I use it mostly for TV and BD/DVD the lossless formats sound great. I am no audiophile but I do listen to music and it sounds very good to me as well. I thought about the 05 when I bought this one and I am not sorry that I bought the 03 and still have the extra money.
