I'm considering one of these receivers (as well as the comparable Marantz - the 4500 I think).

Question:

Since I will only be using it as a 5.1 setup, what are my options with the other 2 channels? Specifically, can I use bridge these channels to combine them with the mains for music listening? In other words, if I somehow combine the channels, is it possible to double the power for the main speakers in stereo mode?
